Vacuum Pumping Systems
Truck and trailer mounted vacuum pumps routinely remove viscous sludge and other fluid wastes. With up to 6,000-gallon holding capacity, production waste buildup in sumps and holding tanks can be cleaned quickly and efficiently. All vehicles and trailers are properly licensed to transport wastes for disposal or recovery.

Wet/Dry Vacuum Cleaning Systems
Powerful air moving systems remove powder, liquid, sludge or granular materials from plant production areas. Specially designed Vec-loaders and vacuum roll-off boxes can improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Dry Vacuuming
K&D maintains a large fleet of industrial vacuum loaders of various sizes and capabilities. The powerful Vactor "2045" and Vactor "XPS" industrial vacuum loaders are capable of either wet or dry operation and can move powders, dusts, liquids, sludges or granular materials easily from areas such as silos, baghouses, tanks or pits. K&D operators routinely set up 500 feet of pipe and remove paint sludge or other materials as fast as it can be fed to the suction end. Typical industrial service projects and locations include cleaning steel mill production facilities, process pipe cleaning at pharmaceutical and chemical plants, baghouse dust collection cleaning, and paint booth and sludge tank cleaning during shutdown or change over periods.

Sewer & Pipe Cleaning Systems
Removal of material build-up or blockage in sewers, product transfer lines, or process piping is accomplished with high volume water jets. K&D employs bucket machine systems that are effective when water jet techniques are not practical.

Automated Tank Cleaning Systems
K&D's automated, rotating nozzle systems clean tank and vessel interiors efficiently and safely without the need for confined space entry. These systems have been used to clean tanks up to 40' in diameter.

Waterblasting and Cleaning
K&D offers waterblasting with over 30 years experience and highly skilled operators to our clients as an effective tool to clean machinery, process tanks, paint booths, pipelines and hard surfaces of all types of buildups. With the experience K&D, we can determine the right piece of equipment for the job, less water volume with higher pressures for less costly disposal issues or watertreatment and reuse if needed. The addition of abrasives to the water stream, when suitable, results in an even more dramatic cleaning capability including tank cutting and pipe cutting all with the power of water. The awesome water power of up to 40,000 psi can cut concrete and steel. The utmost consideration for operator safety is mandatory to harness this power.
